Fund Raiser 2006

November 20th, 2006.

If you ever wondered why they are called them the Rolling Thunder, I can tell you. You all have probably heard a single Harley cycle going down the road, loud - right? Multiply that by two hundred and you got some real increase in decibels. I could hear them (and feel them) before they arrived at the Museum. Two hundred rumbling Harley’s is an awesome sight. More awesome was the guys and gals who were riding them, some Vietnam Veterans and some just supporters of the cause. They road from as far away as Allentown, Pa (some 200 mile away) on a fairly cold day to show their support for the Forgotten Warriors Museum. Not only did they brave the elements to ride, they paid for the privilege with a donation to the museum.

Here is the local TV station news coverage of the event.
